Professional Profile:
Raylene Khan, a Silicon Valley resident since 1982, is one of the Sereno Group’s founding members. She is fulfilling a longtime goal of creating a real estate brokerage that echoes the Valley’s rich real estate history. Khan is a real estate veteran of since beginning her career at Contempo Realty, Los Gatos in 1995. When the company merged with Coldwell Banker, Khan became manager of the Almaden branch. During her tenure, Khan’s team was recognized as one of Coldwell Banker’s top producing offices in Northern California in sales volume and overall performance.
Outside of her commitments at Sereno Group, Khan takes her community involvement very seriously. She serves with Peninsula Pop Warner Football and Cheer. She is a member of the local Lions Club which raises money for the blind. The Los Gatos Children’s Holiday Parade with more than 50 years of success, is managed by the Lions Club. In 2007, Khan completed 10 years of involvement with The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Silicon Valley raising money to find the cure for blood cancers.
While at Coldwell Banker, Khan took a very active role in the efforts of Habitat for Humanity, building homes for those that have difficulty buying homes in today’s market. Toys for Tots, Operation One Warm Coat, and feeding the homeless are annual holiday programs that Khan has served in a leadership role.
Prior to entering real estate as a single mother, Khan worked in the emergency room at El Camino Hospital in Mountain View. It is her work in the medical field that honed her life skills dealing with people in some of the most adverse situations. In her spare time, she enjoys coaching the Nationally ranked cheer team at Los Gatos High School.
Selling Real Estate prior to management, Raylene was a high producing real estate agent every since she won Rookie of the Year honors. Raylene's return to full time Real Estate sales has been a passion of hers for a long time. Raylene prides herself on her outstanding communication skills, empathy and nurturing attitude. "I've built many relationships on a foundation of trust, integrity and a desire to serve." Raylene's two daughters, Mary and Maira, believes her clients are like her family. "I enjoy searching for the perfect home for my clients, and I have the desire to go the extra mile it takes to meet my clients expectations." In the year 2000 Raylene earned the "Top Selling Agent" award in the Los Gatos Seville/Contempo office for representing the highest number of Buyers by dollar volume in transactions and is currently rated as one of the Top 5% of sales agents in Silicon Valley by San Jose Magazine. Raylene believes her growing success is due to her personal relationships with her clients and her community involvement.
